THE WORD FOR TODAY - IT IS ONLY TEMPORARY

Today’s Scripture
“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”
(2 Corinthians 4:17, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD
Your troubles and trials in this life are only temporary. In fact, today’s verse tells us they are momentary. Compared with eternity, our troubles don’t last long at all. As you stand strong in faith during times of adversity, Scripture says that you are achieving eternal glory. When you confess your trust and reliance on God, you are passing the test.

If you are in the middle of tough times today, look to Jesus! The Bible says that He is the Author and Finisher of your faith. He is the one who deposits faith in your heart and then tends to it until it is fully developed. Your part is to keep your heart open and choose words of faith and victory.

Remember, your words set the course for your life. Confess your faith in the Father. Set your mind on Him. Look for His hand moving in your life. Focus on that eternal glory because your troubles here are only temporary!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for working Your eternal glory in me. I cast my cares on You, knowing that my trials and troubles are only temporary. Thank You for Your eternal blessing on my life today and always in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Ekaaro o... se daadaa ni

*Hand behind my back*
*face down*
*clears throat*
Let me explain why I don't usually put weekend downloads on Monday..

*clears throat again* I usually type the post on Mondays, edit it, attach pictures then post on Tuesdays..Why?...Because most times I'm usually tired by Sunday night as such, I won't even have the strength to look at my phone talkless of typing a post...*sighs*.. To the uncle or aunty that threatened to sue me for always keeping everyone in suspense, e ma binu oo *on my knees*... I Didn't know my weekend downloads were that fun. Yaaaaaaay.....Just hold on for 1 day...ehn..Please...*big grin*

On Saturday *ghen ghen ghen ghen*, Leboo asked that I follow him to computer village so I decided to go street with my dressing... When in Rome you act like a Roman na shey

This is what I looked like...
Not original picture but try imagining my face on the body....street yeah? *pops collar*.. I went to computer village feeling all gangsta mehn but Boo said I was looking too tush...*rolls eyes*... But in my own mind, spirit and body I was looking street, rugged and hard boiled!..*smug*.

For those who don't know what or where computer village is, it is located in the heart of Ikeja. If you are a tech lover (even if you're not), you should definately visit computer village once in your lifetime.. It is like the Mr price for anything computer and phones..

Anyways I wasn't able to get anything. Thanks to Tito's abnormal shopping habit. Everyone knows I am impulsive buyer. Take me to a beauty fair and just forget your atm with me....na sorry go finish am....*shines teeth*...Well Tito is a tech impulsive shopper. I thought he was going to buy computer village. tssshhheww... And that was my Saturday.....It wasn't so eventful like that. Thanks to uncle Tito...*long hiss + stern rolling of the eyes*.

My Sunday was good.. It was the first Sunday in July...*church things + thanksgiving sunday* Tito decided to go to church in his agbada... He turned heads in church...not cos he was looking hot...buh because he was looking HAWT!..haha

Here's what we looked like. I still beat him hands down sha...fine girl no pimplez...*smug*

After church, I went to Dominoes to hook up with an old college friend of mine. That place is beginning to look fine o.... Then I branched Mozaya but I am watching my weight *covers face* and so couldn't eat most of what they had...*sad face*... Yes I am taking my weight seriously o..*straight face*... I can't come and get fat for Africa...*raised eyebrow* No insult to fat people in the house...just that most of my best clothes are size 8 and I don't think I want to give them out now...hehe... So I took vegetable salad and rice and coke. *Hold up....* Let me explain how and why the coke was there in the first place. The coke was just on the table. I was only scoping it..... Nowadays, I get coke satisfaction when I pay for coke and just stare at it and not drink it.... That's one step in the right direction, in my weight loss journey....*takes a bow*

After leaving Dominoes, I started craving yam and catfish peppersoup. My cravings these days are scaring me ooo. And I know I am not pregnant so that is crossed out..*straight face*... I made Leboo go all the way with me to Gbagada (at about 9pm) to buy it. Please does anyone know where I can buy catfish peppersoup and yam in ikeja? I have to  travel all the time just to get it..*sighs*....We had to wait at the restaurant for the pepper soup and  by the time the food was served, it was 11 pm already. I had to keep it cos it was too late to eat heavy...and so I packed it to work on Monday.. No pictures please *bats lashes*

I got to work yesterday feeling fly with myself...my hair was on fleek....Monday outfit on point (didn't take pictures cos no one in my office likes taking pictures of me) and then!!!..GBAM... My boss called me into his office and asked
(erhmmmm this was what I heard in my own head o

"Aunty what is this on your head... ehn ehn so what if it's your natural hair?... do not come to work like this tomorrow or else......"
And then I felt like he was going to do this
Hahaha

But he looked  like this

SILENCE

And so I was banned from stepping outside the office till the close of work cos I didn't look like a true ambassador of the company *sigh*...
My people, I decided to take a picture of the hair so you can judge me... is my hair office worthy or not?

I wont let anyone put sand sand in my fine girl journey oooo....hahaha

My weekend wasn't so fab... but I had lots of eye openers...*smiles*

*gbeborun mode activated*
How was your weekend?

Oya come and go and gist me jor....

Have a fab week ahead...

Moby luvs ya....Mobylizers rock!

Hello guys,

I am too excited about this post that I can't even wait to get to it.

So yesterday I was going through Linda Ikeji's blog and then GBAM I saw this post. I know a lot of us read her blog daily but I know someone that doesn't *someone should please call Tito in here immediately*.
So she was talking about the book above.
Apparently, this book is meant for children to explain to them how reproduction works. No age indicated sha.
I do not know how well I'll explain to my child when he/she finally asks (I believe all children asks) but I think I would say something like "Teniola, when a man loves a woman just the way daddy loves mummy, God blesses them with a child as a symbol of his love... You know how you feel when you want to pee... yes a child comes out like that ". I will definately work on my story in due time...
Well it depends on the age of the child sha.

But I doubt I would want my child to read this book... Check content of book below.

I believe there are more subtle and 'not-too-blunt" ways to teach children about reproduction. This is very very graphic for a child.
Who thinks it is okay for you to tell a child the truth about how a child is born? Is it harmful to the child if you do not. I really want to read your thoughts. I'm waiting

THE WORD FOR TODAY - THE APPLE OF HIS EYES

$

Today’s Scripture
“Keep me as the apple of your eye...”
(Psalm 17:8, NIV)

TODAY'S WORD
In this day and age, people are considered to be important for so many different reasons—titles, position, possessions, where you go, what you drive. But God’s value system is very different from the world’s value system. If you’ve ever thought that God has too many other important things on His plate to be concerned with you and your life, know this today—you are God’s number one priority. And there’s nothing you can do to be more important or less important. God values you simply because He made you, and your value will never change. You are significant. Your life is significant. The things that concern you, concern God. He carefully watches over every detail of your life. There is nothing too big or too small for His attention.
Take your concerns and cares to the Father today. He loves to hear you call on Him, and He is waiting to show Himself strong on your behalf. Because you are important to Him, He is ready to bless and empower you to live in victory all the days of your life. You are the apple of His eye!
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for loving me today. Thank You for making me the apple of Your eye. I open my heart to You today and cast every care on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

KEY TO MY HEART

Hello mi lovies.
What's popping??
I have decided.... I am buying the 'How to make a baby' book for everyone that read and left a comment on the post *haha*. If you've not read the book, read it HERE.
So yesterday, I was reading a post on Atilola's blog and she was talking about the inner court of relationships. One thing that struck me was the part where she said be wise to watch how we let people into intimate areas of our lives. Don't just hand the keys to every tom, dick and harry you see in the outer court.

Hmnnnnn… You should read the post. Check it HERE

She said something that hit me and really got me thinking. She said “We meet a guy today, start tripping and even when the guy hasn't worked hard to gain our trust, we give our whole heart to the guy. When the guy walks out of our lives, or doesn't give us what we expect, we become so heartbroken."

Then Tito came to mind. I know lots of us do not know this but I have known Leboo since 2009 *covers face*.

Let me share an embarrassing story with you guys. I know Tito would kill me for doing this. Tito I am sorry… *singing* Please forgive me…ta ta ta ta ta *chopping mouth*.

You see, I met Tito on a set of an advert shoot I was doing for Big Bamo of the Maintain group…you know that Kowonje guy na.. yes that’s him. He wanted to start a reality show and he wanted to do lots of promo and He asked me to be a model in it (I was still skinny then…but too short to even be a model).
I met this other girl, Oyindamola, on set and we got talking. You would think we knew each other from Adam but I gel easily with people, shebi? *bats lashes*. Then Tito walked in and it so happened that he was her school papa in Uni (cliche yea?).
Anyways there was lots of screaming and hugging and then he said Hi to me. Now note this...it was never love-at-first-sight. It was indifference-at-first-sight. I said Hi, He said hello and they just totally ignored me..like blanked me out *tufiakwa*. Tito was the director of the shoot..he was acting all professional and I was acting all buff too (I can’t be falling my hands na).

Bamo dropped me off after the shoot a
nd he started teasing Tito about liking me (Tito told me this part) and Tito rebuked and rejected it. Razz boy... he didn't know good thing then na.

We later met on a reality show called 'the Next Movie Star'. I was a contestant (i didn’t win o) and my friend, Oyinda, (Yes she was already a friend) was on the show too (she won..yipee) and Tito was a director on the show. I saw him at the audition and I just ignored the ugly boy. I had pride back in the day o...kai.

We started talking well after the show but it was just a brother-sister friendship...we were pretty cool already. So sometime in 2010, Tito came to my house with his best friend, Tunde, and everyone was gisting and chilling. I used to be very very playful ehn…trust me I know I’ve calmed down now. So I jokingly said (in my tiny voice) "Tito see my bombom is growing now o" and then I turned to show him the growing bombom.... Only for me to feel Tito's hands grabbing my ass. Chineke meeee... I wanted to die...Everytime I remember what I said next and I think that sealed the deal. I think ni o. I said "Tito, if it’s not because I really respect you, I would have slapped you". And I walked out.

Story to be continued in the future but you all can just imagine there was a long fight and someone traveled out and someone moved on and Ibadan happened.

You all have to pay me for the next gist haba...

What am I trying to say? It took me 4 years to eventually let Uncle Tito into my holy of holies (get your minds out of the gutter). Holy of holies means into my heart *carries face*

All in all, what is the reason for this post? We should consciously try to know the people worth being in our lives. We need to guard out heart as humans. Don't just let everyone in. Just as Ati said, we need to let people prove themselves before we take further steps. Some people are meant to be in our lives for a season and some forever. Let's save ourselves the regrets, disappointments and bitterness... Some people have no business being in our lives for more than 2 minutes but then we divulge too much info to them and then they leave. I used to be guilty of that, I confess.
We don't need to be harsh towards anyone...Just selective . Even Jesus had to pick the people he wanted to be close to him. Let’s all be wise in our decision making.
With these few points of mine, I think I've said enough.
 Choose wisely.

Once upon a time...

Once an american man walked into a restaurant in London. As soon as he entered, he noticed an African man sitting in the corner. So he walked over to the counter, removed his wallet and shouted, "Waiter! I am buying food for everyone in this restaurant, except that black African guy over there!"
So the waiter collected the money from the man and began serving free food to everyone in the restaurant, except the African.
However, instead of becoming upset, the African simply looked up at the American and shouted, "Thank you!".

That infuriated the man. So once again, the American took out his wallet and shouted, "Waiter! This time I am buying bottles of wine and additional food for everyone in this bar, except for that African sitting in the corner over there!" So the waiter collected the money from the man and began serving free food and wine to everyone in the bar except the African. When the waiter finished serving the food and drinks, once again, instead of becoming angry, the African simply smiled at the American man and shouted, "Thank you!".
That made the American man more furious. So he leaned over on the counter and said to the waiter, "What is wrong with that African man? I have bought food and drinks for everyone in this bar except for him, but instead of becoming angry, he just sits there and smiles at me and shouts 'Thank you.'Is he mad???" The waiter smiled at the American and said, "No, he is not mad. He is the OWNER of this restaurant."

I can only imagine the shame and anger that would live with the American man  for the rest of his life. I just want to say a quick prayer. All things will work for your own favour in Jesus name....Amen!... At our places of work, in our houses, amongst our peers, in strange places, the goodness and mercies of God shall be with us for the rest of our lives....Amen!... The bible says If the ways of a man pleases God, even his enemies would be at peace with him...  May your enemies work unknowingly in your favour in Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen.

With the plenty English I've spoken today, no more English for the rest of the month....Make I no get muscle pull for brain.....LOL

So I was thinking of begging Leboo to complete our love story....*grin*.....hehe. Maybe guys in the house can learn small tactics from the Don...Don pilly chilly aka don spigherri...(Don p...he loves when you say it in full...with attitude...LOL)... Let's hope and pray he has time to even consider it...

In other news, no work on Friday and Monday... Oh my God..... I am going to fly this weekend...like serious flying...I am not a witch o buh I shall fly... Okay now I'm saying rubbish. Got to go...

Have a wonderful day ahead.

Mwahhhhhh

Cheers......

Hello guys...

How's your holiday going? Sure most of us can't wait to resume work...Me!... I want 1 more day added... *lazy mode activated +covers face* ( I hope my boss doesn't see this)...

The most important gist for today...Yes it is important because this person is worth it.... My male blog bestie (you know who... yes you do), Duru Adolphus Jnr., celebrated his 2nd year blogversary on Saturday and mehn was there a lot of turning up....shiii...*pops collar*....
I am just too proud of that boy.... He has too much energy and he is super smart... I love you papi.... I am so happy I started this blog as I have met soooo  many amazing people and Duru is one of them. Keep doing you Duru... Don't let anyone tell you to be someone or something else. From the entire Mobylizers,we say CONGRATULATIONS.

Also, today is myself and leboo's 2nd year anniversary*blushing*....*yaaaay*. We started dating July 20th 2013 and truthfully, I never thought we would last 6 months. I told Tito and he said he was going to make sure we lasted years together.
This was the cake Tito gave me last year and I was thinking that was going to be the last anniversary gift from him..... Mehn it feels like we've just started dating...feels like the 1st day... Thanks Don P for making it worth the while.... Love you to the moon and back...Mwaaahhhh
So what was I up to over the weekend?
One sweet darling of mine said 'Moby you're trying o... you are always going out every weekend...how do you do it'. Jessica darling, hear me now...
'Omo mehn ko easy o'...(It's not easy) Sometimes I want to stay indoors but then I get bored and just want to have me some noise and fun.... Its hard trying to be me...trust me I know....*shines teeth*

On Saturday, I had loads of turning up to do...
First was the SDK paint Lagos fitness and dance training.... I was going through Stella' s blog and I saw that she put together a fitness exercise for everyone. Trust me na... I had to turn up and yep...I dragged Tito along....*grin*

Afterwards, my gym put together a breakfast get-together and Tito is their official Mc so we had to turn up. It was a good networking opportunity and I met The crazy Nigerian *yaaaay....
I know a celebrity..hehe*. He is not so crazy in person... trust me I know and he is super cute *don't you dare tell Leboo I said that*... hehe...
I did a little bit of exercise after eating this....
Waste of time shey?*covers face*.
By the time I got home, I was tired AF and just hit the bed...(my body still hurts) then guess who got brunch in bed? Meeeeee...Leboo just had to pamper me...and there was his  cousin, Aramide...
She was the dessert of my brunch..hehe. She's like my padi padi in the house as in.... Trust me its not easy finding a padi in your partner's family but hey...I DID!...LOL....
Anyways, I spent the remaining day watching TV and getting super love.... Tito and his cousin have been acting super clingy and touchy of late... I think I need to change my cream.... I felt like I had two big cats around me..LOL..

Sunday was church.. it was an amazing service and then later on, I had to attend the Singles And Youth fellowship... I think I should start inviting Mobylizers for my fellowship cos it always makes sense...*wink*. Who will come for the next one? Raise your hand up...

Anyways, Tito has decided to write the 'how we met post'..yaya!....*dancing shakiti-shoki*...
I can't wait... Why I'm so excited about it? I really do not pay attention to so many things like he does... He is an information keeper all the time and so I want to read his post.. I can want to blush small....LOL...abi na...

And that was how my weekend went... who else had so much fun?

Oya gist me ASAP...

Have a wonderful and Mobylized week... Mwahhhhh.

*clears throat*
Infact I have to do more than clear throat for this one....hmmn hmmmmn *clears throat again*....

Don P has decided to complete the 'how we met story'....so who am I to talk plenty now?....
Oya oya oya!...let's read *washes face with pure water*.....

Enjoy!....

 Don P speaks:

Ok fellow Mobylizers....once again Moby has conered me into writing...like I practically didn't have a choice.Anyway, its a story I can never get tired of telling as it always brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart..

Before I start, I have decided to use this post as my anniversary gift/note to my special lady and love of my world, Mobolaji (Moby) on our 2nd year as Boo and Bae..lol.

Moby, loving you has been one arduos task but at the same time refreshing, fulfilling, enligthening, lifting, soothing, comforting,et al. There were times when I was going through rough patches and the only thing that kept me going (after God) was the thought of you....Your hair...your smile...your eyes, your kiss, your warmth, your love (and other parts of your body *sensored*...)...You opened a new chapter in my life 2 years ago and 2 years after, it still feels like we just started on that page...I look forward to the forever .... You are awesome....you are my star...Sometimes I wonder what exactly it is and ask myself...is it her eyes? Her legs? Her butt? Her mien? Her gait? Her hardworking nature? Her spirituality?....I couldn't place it...then I realised it was a combination of all these in different portions carefully conjured by our Almighty Maker which resulted to one special God-sent angel....packaged specially and carefully with my name as its destination...I would never be able to show you how much I love you...even after I marry you, my actions, words, thoughts and even inactions would never be able to express the love I feel and have for you. Thank you for making me the most favored and the luckiest man. I love you.

Now back to the gist....errr she stopped at where I grabbed her butt yeah?....well yes...Guilty as charged! Anyway, after that day, we didn't see for a while...I travelled out of the country for my masters. When I returned, a friend called me and asked that I host his reality show 'Snap to Stardom', which I obliged. On getting to the venue...I walked in to welcome to contestants and lo and behold...Moby was one of them. I casually said hi and just went about my business. Now Moby didn't tell you the part when I made an advance towards her in 2009 during the next movie star show, but she decided to go with another colleague of mine. I still had that in mind so I didn't want to jump.

One time during the snap to stardom show, while we were shooting a video for magneto (a Nigerian rapper), Moby was lying on her back on a couch and I went to her and asked her to 'guess what I felt like doing to her' and she goes 'Don't even dare kiss me' (YES she is a jumper... be jumping into conclusions like)....and I was like 'who wants to kiss this one..I was just going to sit on your stomach'... and I just walked away.

Fast forward 2013, I had returned to do my Nysc, and after 3 weeks in Jos, I redeployed to Oyo, Ibadan. On one afternoon, (after cds ) I was on my way to lagos, still cladded in my khaki and crested vest. As I got to the bus park on Iwo road, I saw 2 hot babes on one bike and I was saying to myself 'See these fine babes on one bike, they couldn't even take separate ones...broke ass' and as I was still self-gisting, one of the girls smiles at me and calls out my name. Yep you guessed right It was Moby.
Now, I didn't have enough money on me...so you could imagine how I almost entered the ground when she said she was also going to Lagos. I had enough money for just one person which was myself..But as a sure guy, I just locked up...I paid my fair and just bonned then she paid hers...(She still says she saw me as very stingy)...See me see wahala..must a guy always pay for everything? Kai.
We exchanged numbers as she was going to alight before me but as she dropped, I felt like something left me...like I was already missing her...I just shook it off. Baddest guy move.

I started calling her, and inviting her to my place as we were both serving in Ibadan, but she kept posting me. Then one day, after about 3 months, she calls and says she wanted to come to my place for the weekend because one of her Ibadan boyfriends wasn't around. It felt like Obama called me to say he was coming...I immediately pimped my room up (with help from my friend, Tosin), bought provisions and food stuff and made it look like I had them long ago and not because she was coming. I remember the moment she got to my gate, I told myself 'I cannot date this girl...I'll just chop and clean mouth'. NOTE to everyone: Most guys have just one mission statement once they have a girl over... GET THE JOB DONE NOW OR NEVER. (You get my drift *winks*).

Now..contrary to my expectation, Moby wasn't like that...She flat out declined every advance...and stuck to her guns that nothing was gonna happen. Being a gentleman, I respected her opinion and wejust gisted and slept....The next day (this was when Moby won me), she told me why she refused to let anything happen and it was from a spiritual perspective and I was shocked any girl could be so pious to that point.

I fell...deeply and madly in love with her....

It's been 2 wonderful years of having Moby as my partner, best friend and lover...

From 2009 when I first met her, I always invited her for my Christmas party and for 4 years she never came..but I kept on inviting even though we would fight after each decline....I kept on... and alas! In 2013, Moby attended my xmas party... Testimony time.

Its been a long read.. I know but  trust me...it is SUMMARIZED!...

Thank you Mobylizers for being a part of our lives and our story...and thank you Mobolaji Olayinka Amusu for being the harmony to my heart beat.

 MOBY SPEAKS
I am swooned...yeeeeeeeee

Bye.....

Today, I want to talk about my hair... I have still not given her a name cos she is still in the lag phase but very soon, you all shall come and do ikomo (naming ceremony)*wink*

I can categorically tell y'all my office people do not like my natural hair..*rolls eyes*....Only Dr. Dami likes it  and that's cos she is super cool..*hugs*.... She gave me sweet ogbono with plenty meat yesterday *covers face* that's super cool x2..... I don't even feel comfortable taking my natural hair to work and  that's not fair *sad face*. I remember at the interview for this job, I asked the interviewers if they had anything against natural hair and they said a big NO. Now the story has changed. Such evullllssss on an innocent me! *crying out loud*+ *singing* I WILL SURVIVE.

You remember the post of how the boss threatened to fire me  if I didn't come with a better style the next day (well he didn't say it like that o...) That wasn't cool though..*straight face*. You can read the post HERE.

I would write a few challenges I face in my day to day life over this my natural hair. I just don't get why people won't just let me be myself....*folds arms* + *duck face*

One time, I decided to do plenty plenty sen ren ren with my hair.... I spent over 20 minutes trying to make my spongy hair stay flat and fine which. I even wasted half a cup of my jack 5ive activator gel on the hair.... so in my mind I was feeling super cool and super fine. Immediately I stepped outside my house, the first comment I got from the 1st person I saw was "Ah Bolaji igba wo lo ma se irun e yi? Ko fine jor (ah Bolaji when are you going to make this your hair? It is not fine jor) "?
And then she did this... or I thought I saw her do this
 I wanted to faint.!..
I'm like 'I spent about a good 25 minutes styling this hair...noooo' ? The woman just had to cramp my style mehn..

Ok,so here are the challenges...

1. Can I touch your hair?
This is one question that i can never get tired of hearing. Usually comes in this order... Is your hair strong?  and then gbam... HAND IN HAIR.
You see, I grew up in a strong spiritual house. Leboo even calls my mum a babalawo cos she has an  alternative therapy for everything..Like If you have a headache, she can just say "put your hand inside your anus and lick it and the headache would disappear".. LMAO (don't try this ooo...this one is just a joke ooo...LOL)... Things like that sha...
As a child, my mum always warned us never to let anyone touch our head cos it is where our glory is stored. I grew up with that mentality and so I have a limited few that can touch my mane. But this my natural hair kinda attracts different hands to my head. I went for an event one day and someone just stopped me and said 'hey...can I touch your hair". And I was thinking to myself...how do I say "My mummy say that......." and then before I could even say ok, she was all up in my hair and going all ohhhhhh ahhhhh...

2. How Do You Comb Your Hair?

They often ask this question with a look of pity in their eyes like "eyaaaa, how do you cope with this suffering"? And all I want to do is
so I try to explain that I only comb when it's wet or when I apply a conditioner and never ever when dry, unless I want to meet my maker and I don't comb everyday.  I'm human afterall...

Even though some of the reactions to my hair can be annoying...like very very annoying, like one naive once asked "Is your boyfriend broke that he asked you to cut your hair?".. Really Bruh...really. I had to ask the holy spirit to gum my mouth and paralyze my hand before I did anything stupid... but then most of the time, the comments are actually positive and they make me go like
And *in my 007 voice* I have succeeded in encouraging some people to go back to natural. For that alone, I tap myself on my back and give myself a kiss...... *takes a bow*Thank you very much...no pictures please....hehe.
Have you ever made a decision you felt so good about but everyone else thinks isn't  so smart? Well cutting my hair was one of the smartest things I did in 2014 regardless of the few initial objections (that have now become fans hee hee)

To all the 1st time commenters in the house, may God bless you abundantly and give you a jollof rice blessing not concoction rice...LOL ( yes I'm thinking party jollof rice right now...as in made with fire wood ooo, not gas cooker...LOooooL).. I have a jollof party over the weekend... Yaaaaaay...

Weekend already downloading... 1%

Thank you people

And I kick off the begining of a fabulous weekend...have a nice one guys

Cheers!

Hello boobooliz
Helloooo booooooooossss
Hello bae bae'ssss

Good morning Ya'll...

I had one of those Mondays where everyone and everything looks like a pillow...(*no jokes*).... I just wanted to sleep and sleep and sleep.. and to even type post con become wahala...*straight face*...But I know I have to serve my dear Mobylizers some weekend gist...tuwale to my Mobylizers...sleep or no sleep...I dey kampe for una...LOL

How was your  weekend?....well..since there's more than one Mobylizer can I say 'How were your weekend' LMAO....This english sef get as e be...LOL

For the first time in a long while,I had no plans for this weekend...*surprise*... I didn't even have plans to sleep...Imagine!....I was just clueless this weekend.

I got an invite weeks back from my friend, Bimbo, to attend her mum's school's end of the session party...(Errr ok maybe just that small plan)... She already assured me that there was going to be very delicious party jollof rice, so on Saturday morning, I just packed my load and went to her house and I ate enough  rice to hold me till next week....*yeah* *wink*
And I took lots of selfies

On Saturday evening, after I returned from my 'jollof ricevanganza',  leboo got a call from a friend asking for a makeup artist for the following day, Sunday,  and I agreed to go...

Guys, money is good ooo....*Iya rainbow mode activated*.... If anyone tells you money is not important, RUUNNNN. Money is good.! You see ehn, the engagement was like the wedding proper (yes o, na engagement we go ooo for Lekki *Mama G mode*...LOL). I almost mistakenly leaned on the cake cos the thing was looking like the wall of Jericho....Shuu...Cake come be like fence...* I tire*... It was a big engagement. There was every big car you can imagine parked at the lot... It was a fabulous event..... King Sunny Ade was the chairman of the day  so you can imagine the crowd....The people were plenty fa...*thumbs down*...I don't really like crowd...*folds arms* I want to have a rich, small but classy wedding...

So I made up for these big women and they paid miraculously....  hahaha...Ladies and gentlemen I say again, Money is good ooo...hmmmn...
Here are some of the make over pictures....Shout out to Leboos cousin, Aramide aka Mama, aka mamz (LOL)  for being a good help throughout the makeover session...She really tried for me...Love you loads baby...*kisses*

This woman didn't want us to take a before picture of her so we had to kidnap her face anyhow..funny woman

Ha! Before I forget, lemme do one gbeborun sharply...LOL...
A  friend of mine made a grammatical blunder and I made up my mind to share with everyone....*grin*  So there he was gisting me about this friend of his that just made 50 million naira. He was saying this guy just bought some amazing beautiful looking chairs into his apartment and I go 'He bought chairs into his apartment? why not just buy a land and build a house' and then I asked 'is the house rented?' and my friend says 'No o...its an apartment'...*say what?*... then I get confused.com and I ask again "Is it rented or is it  his house?" and he still says 'Its an apartment jor (he was already stamping his feet at this point)' and then I figured it out. If you rent a house, its an apartment but when you build a house then its a HOUSE.
And I'm like
SOURCE
WHAT???

And then I get like

Everytime I think about it, I just laugh. Crazy world we live in....Naija I hail thee...

I couldn't make my hair over the weekend and so I bought this gorgeous hair from my cousin-in-law. I got to work feeling super hot and my boss was going to explode in my face again but my colleagues got my back. sharp sharp they told him my hair was office standard...And he had to swallow all his anger Haha. Here's what it looked like.

If you are interested in this cap (its a wig o),  call Aramide on 08180065211....Buy ooo...Please patronize my girl *wink*

Oya gist away... who did something I didn't do this weekend? Make me jealous....or at least try....lol

Have a fab week ahead people...

Love yaa muchos

Cheers!

Hello guys…

My name is Mobolaji and I am a Coke addict..

*SILENCE*

Hol up…hol up…hol up

I don’t mean cocaine addict o… I meant Coke… like Coca Cola. I crave coke all the time and it has gotten to the point where it affects my mood when I don’t take it. I get really sad and quiet without any energy to play. I need to stop drinking Coke. I know I have to but can I just be taking a bottle cover daily *sad face*.
Enough about me…
I want to apologize to everyone for my ‘late moderating of comment’ attitude . It is not easy being a blogger in Nigeria. If NEPA is not working against you, your service provider would. I am sorry for posting comments late. You will not believe who sent me a message at 6 a.m for not posting his comment *covers face*. Thank you all so much for being understanding.

We have a sister in need and she trusts us enough to help her.  *Note to sister* I hope we would be able to give you the best advice…but also note some people can be very very blunt so just be patient and understanding. Thanks for trusting us once again.

To everyone reading this and is going through issues worth sharing, be it relationship, physical, sexual (I can handle that too… trust me *winks*), your secret is safe with me and you remain anonymous on the blog when you drop your issues… We are here to serve you. Also Ignore my dramatic part…when its Dear Moby, I become really really serious *straight face*.

So here we go..

I have recently started going out with a man who I am very happy with. We are so good together which is something I’ve not had in a long time. My best friend introduced him to me and from the day I agreed to date him, it has been heaven on it. I have even gotten to the meet-my-family stage and his mum adores me (which is weird cos I do not get along with parent). Yesterday I realized I had not spoken to my friend since last week (we talk all the time so a week is a very long time not to have spoken to her). Let me also add that I noticed her countenance changed from the minute I told her I met the parent. So I called her and she confessed to me that she is very sad and she went ahead telling me that my boyfriend is her ex boyfriend.  They dated when she was 20 and they were only together for a few months and have remained friends but, despite her now having a boyfriend of four years with whom she is extremely happy, she is angry that we are getting serious. She has told me she finds the situation so difficult she doesn't know if we can remain friends. I don't see the problem because it was so long ago and they have remained friends. She said she is going to completely cut contact with both of us. I lived with her for four years before we left university and we have been through a lot together. Now I am caught in the middle. I am not sure if this new relationship is worth the destruction of an old one. I am also angry with my boyfriend for not ever mentioning the relationship to me. It’s not fair that I have to be put in the middle of all this. I deserve better and I love him but I love my friend too. I don’t know if I’m supposed to be angry or sad. Help me Moby. I read all your dear Moby series and I know you can be of help. Thank you

MOBY SPEAKS
As much as I want to just sit and read people’s comment, I would just say one thing. Maybe two things. Why is your friend sad? She did the hooking up, right? She is in a relationship, right? There is more to this story. I think you should corner your friend and ask her every possible questions. I don’t think you need to start choosing at this point. You need loads of maturity to handle this.
I would sit and let the elders handle this…But just take it easy.

Oya Mobylizers come o.. Ke de o…ke de o…

We need your help.

Hello guys…

I just got this new lenovo laptop at work and mehn *no hating* I HATE IT. It is super annoying and stressful..or am I the one with the issue.. I know I am not so tech savvy but this system is driving me crazy jor...ahhh. But I shall use it.... a computer can't be so hard like that na...okay.

HEADLINE NEWS
I have decided to reduce my coke intake. I hope no one is calculating how many times I've said that on the blog. God help me. Just this week, I've taken 6 50cl bottles of Coke... I know... i know..i will stop. Starting from today *sad face*.

Anyways, to everyone patronizing my girl for the cap I spoke about in my Monday Download…thank you all so much.I mean this o
I got a mail from an Opeyemi asking how to maintain a wig with so much waves like mine. Well for me, so far, I have been doing so well with this one. I like it cos its light weight, soft and hasn’t tangled yet. Trust me I’ve had my own fair share of winchy winchy wigs that would tangle almost immediately after getting it.
For this one, I did a mix of water, coconut oil and leave in conditioner into my spray bottle I also use this for my natural hair. I use African Naturalistas Leave in conditioner…the smell and the feel on my hair is amazing,
O’ naturals coconut oil (I got it from the Naturals in the city event I attended sometime in May)
and then Iya Dayo’s water…hehe
I am not an expert when it comes to things like this but I know water is good for moisture and African Naturalista make good natural hair products.  You can check them out.

I hope this post is helpful.
And so I open the door to an amazing, fa-bu-lous weekend. I have owanbe jollof rice that is sure tomorrow..If you want to tag along, say
odoriferous saga cum gargantuan gaga. hehehe

HAPPY NEW MONTH IN ADVANCE....
Cheers…

THE WORD FOR TODAY - KNOW HIS KINDNESS

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“...the kindness of God leads you to repentance.”
(Romans 2:4, NASB)

TODAY’S WORD
In the natural, when we’ve wronged someone, sometimes it’s easier to avoid them than to face potential rejection. Sometimes we mistakenly look at God the way we view other people, but God isn’t like that. He’s not mad at you; He’s waiting for you with open arms. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done, know that His kindness leads you to repentance. He wants to help you get past that obstacle. He doesn’t want there to be anything in the way of your relationship with Him.

Don’t ever let condemnation keep you from going to God. Know His kindness today. Experience His goodness. Trust His faithfulness. He’s promised He’ll never leave you nor forsake you. Turn to Him today and let Him pour His lovingkindness on you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, thank You for loving me today. Thank You for Your kindness. I come to You and repent of anything that stands in the way of our relationship today in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I am angry...I'm very angry....as in I dey vex....and NOTHING can calm me down (except you ask for my account number...hehe)....

But seriously, I typed a very long post for our weekend download and I mistakenly deleted it.....Like what!!!!.... Do you have an idea of how frustrating that is? I feel like punching someone....anyone.... If you love Moby, please sacrifice your face… I am so angry....Arrrrggghh!!!

First I want to say, HAPPY NEW MONTH..... May this new month bring us lots of joooy, happiness, testimony and party 'jellof' rice.
Guess whose birth month it is?

Yesss….. you garrit!**thumbs up**.. Its my birth month.....*yay*....
Mhen the girl is getting old o...*scratches head*... Was it not just yesterday I celebrated my last birthday… Kaiiiiii… Diaris God o....!

How was your weekend?....(Abi na how were your weekends??...English cannot kill me)...
I had a fabulicious weekend…. It was jellof-ful…yeah....party jollof rice every where mhen....
PAUSE….
*SERIOUS FACE*

Guys, if you don’t remember anything from this post or from me, please remember this....NEVER FORGET!.... Money is good and very important. Let us all strive to work hard while we can. I believe with God, everything is possible... Let us work hard and work smart and also put God over everything. I know a lot of us are still confused over my spirituality…even me sef I’m confused but don’t be confused over my love for God. I love that man too much cos he is all I have....*WORD!*

Back to why Money is good…
I attended a 40th birthday party on Saturday and I looked at this woman’s (the celebrant) bibliography and I was inspired. At 40, this woman has achieved a lot...She can go to bed at night feeling satisfied and knowing she has lived…  I want to be like this woman…and even better. Let me just add a little of the things I learnt....
Don’t ever make the excuse that there are no resources for you to achieve your goal or that people who make it do so due to having a good family background or that they live in better countries that push people to success… don’t EVER make any excuse for failure. Strive hard… Work hard….. And in Dr. Dami’s words “if anyone is pulling you back, cut them off”... I’ve learnt that for you to attain your goals, you need people that believe in the goals around you. Time waits for no one. 24 hours in a day is not enough...its all we've got... So make do with what you have.... A word is enough for the wise….he who has ears, let him hear....*folds arms*

I was invited to the party by my friend, Tijani, and I did not regret going. Helen Paul was the Mc and she did a marvelous job. If I didn't  already have my wedding Mc, I would have said Helen Paul would do the job....*smiles*

There was everything at the party…mention it. But I went for my regular. JELLOF RICE. And it jellofed my stomach…hehehe. The band was amazing…the Dj was okay..In all, it was an excellent outing.
Hmmmn...Mobylizers hear ooo * re-ties wrapper + adjusts gele**...The devil wanted to show his sef oo....I almost fell!!… Yes I almost yakata-d on the floor at the party…. There was one evil stone that wanted to cramp my style but Baba God gat me…
I didn’t take a full picture cos I got to the venue late but I took selfies…Here are some of it... and that's Tijani.

feeling sexy... e no easy
Then I went to see a movie with Leboo... PIXEL.... good movie.. Is it worth going to the cinema for? Abeg download it on your phone jor..*covers face* Not the pirated one o...ehn ehn before they will say I'm encouraging bad tin...hehe

I have this dress I wore for my friend’s wedding sometime last year (you can check it HERE) and that was the last time I wore it.…(I almost gave it away)... Well I decided to give my tailor the dress to do her magic on it and she did....And the dress now looks even better.. I wore it to church on Sunday and everyone loved it. Lesson learnt….don’t always toss out every dress... You can try to revamp it once in a while… I might just do something else to it next year...who knows...*winks*
Last year...... this year (Sunday)
I decided to go to MA kitchen after church with Leboo and I ordered their Fried rice + sea rice and plantain with assorted…*covers face*... After that kind of meal, you become useless!!….You won't be able to  do anything with your body apart from sleep!…so I slepttttttt!!!…. I woke up, thought about my life and slept all night....LOL

That was all I did this weekend…
My weekend is the kinda weekend I want to have all the time...*smiles*

If you didn’t eat jellof rice this weekend, say 'AYE'…… HEHEHE

Have a fabulous week ahead…and don’t forget, money must be made.

Cheers

Guess what!!!
Guess what!!!!

Guess whaaaaat!!!!!!*shouting + jumping

Wait 1st...before you guess....

Hello mi lovies... What's happening?

I'm kinda not so inspired today... I have been procastinating this post since last week and I know this is important....as in major important....azin.."I won't forgive my self if I don't do this post"
Oya oya guess what!!!

Guess naawww!!!!

ITS MY MUMS BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!.. YAAAAAAY..*dancing alantashokilewugalalingozontosuolimpopo*....
(You go fear dance na)......
My mum is still very  hot, beautiful and very strong at 51..(Keep off ...she's taken *rolls eyes*)... I can definately say  she is aging very well and I am proud of her. Just last year I did a post for her...(you can read it HERE).....and today I'm doing another post....God has been faithful in keeping her safe for the past one year...I bless His name...

I want to dedicate this post to her...*big smile*.... cos I know I would make her read it later....hmmmn....How can I dramatically get her to read this *scratches head*....Maybe I'll just send her a text later in the day telling her that someone put up a sex tape of me online and that I am so sorry for breaking her heart...and so she should open the link to see it.....LOL... But thinking about it now, why will my mum want to see a sex video of me? *raised eyebrow*....I doubt she would open it. She'll just abuse me, preach to me then ask me to follow her to church to go and pray....(That kinda demon casting prayer with broom, water, candles and incense...LMAO) That's the kind of mother I have. Very very predictable.... So here is the short note I'm writing to her....

*clears throat*

Dearest Iya Dayo of the Amusu's family,

Today is your birthday and I have decided to write you something that's from my heart. I know right now in your mind you're saying 'Se letter la ma je bayi?' (meaning: Are we going to eat letter now?). Well we are going to eat this one now o..ehnehn

Here are words to describe you mum...

I love everything about you and I love that you are my mum.
Iya Dayo, every day of my life I am very happy to have you around... So many times I look at you and I pray to God that you stick around for a very long time.... I know myself and Lola always ignore you most times in the morning and that's just because we love sleep..*covers face*....and then you bring your drama and say "Lola and Bolaji do not love me anymore...anyway I brought yam and stew ooo incase you guys want" and you know that would always get us to stand up....LOL... I love you too much mummy and your drama's just 'epicly' out of this world... People look at me and call me 'MAD BLACK WOMAN'..I tell them...'You should meet the queen her self  then you will know I am a learner'..LOOOL.... I love you maale...*hugs*

You are the only person who has always been with me... loving me, worrying about my welfare...*interlude*.. Guys, my mum is such a worrier...its so serious that whenever anything happens to me, I make sure she gets know about it when I get better. My mum says we will never understand now why she worries so much but that we would when we start having kids. At some point I will have the joy of becoming a mother, I hope at least I look like you.

Everyday I want to make you happy and make you very proud of me... I hope you are proud of me *bats lashes*...I love you with all my being mom, I hope you have a wonderful birthday and that God fills you with blessings. There can't  and wouldn't be a mother just like you. I want to wish you a happy 51st birthday

Love,
MOBY.

Alright people....Please join me in wishing my mum a happy birthday...not sure there would be a turning up ooo....LOL....

May God bless and keep all of us and for the Mobylizing  Mothers and aspiring Mothers, may we live long to have our kids and their kids write good things to us on our birthdays.

 Have a fab Thursday guys....*wait*....*sniff* *sniff*.....can you smell that???....ehn??....I can smell it!!....its the Weekend baby.......coming soon...lol

Thank you all so much for wishing my mum a happy birthday... Y'all are da bombest... Thanks *mwahhhhh*

I want to give a huge shout out to all the August babies in da house... whoop whoop!!!

We rock all the way.
Also, happy birthday to Mr. Ife- Adeniyi, Temidire and every August 7th babies. God's goodness and mercy will be with you all the days of your life. Amen.
To today's tori, I got a mail from someone I assume would be a guy and then GBAM... this hate mail from this nigga.
*pause* Hol up...hol uppp... I call it a hate mail cos this bros was obviously hating on we female folks.... I mean what must we have done to this oga to deserve this much hate... not cool. Well I read through and I can ca-te-go-ri-cal-ly tell you that I am guilty of some of these things *covers face*.

So here we go

Ladies I am tired of my girlfriend and her unnecessary wahalas. WATAPIN. I love my babe o. I think I love her too much sef but she is so annoying. I spoke to a few of my guys and they said their women do it too. Do you guys have monthly meeting where you all agree to do same thing? ehn? Well, below are a few of the things I face as a boyfriend to a woman. E don taya me jor. Ladies I am not hating. I just need you to be considerate at times. We are humans after all.

1. Ladies, why do you always take your dreams seriously. WHYYYYY?????? It is only but a dream. My girlfriend saw me making out with a friend of hers and till tomorrow, I wouldn't stop hearing about how I cheated on her with her friend. Stop getting mad at me for what I did in your dreams. Please.

2. Ladies are the worst decision makers ever. Why can't you just make up your mind on time. You need to see my babe's shoe closet and she would always complain of not having shoe. I have just 5 pairs of shoe and I am very humble with it. 2 black shoes, 1 brown, 1 all stars and one i use to play ball. O tan (finish) and I am proud to say I have enough shoes. Not my babe. Or in other instances

Me: “What do you want to do for dinner?” Her: “I don’t know, whatever’s fine with me.” Me: “How about KFC rice and chicken?” Her: “I’m not in the mood for chicken.” Me: “What are you in the mood for?” Her: “Eh, whatever you want…”. My bad but when you guys say “whatever”, I assume you mean “whatever.”. Then garri and groundnut is good nigbayen.

3. Taking from their man’s plate of food. This is the worst. O dun mi (it pains me). I hope bae doesn't see this post or else I am dead. The annoying is she doesn't even ask. She just takes and I'm like

Order your own f@%king fries or salad at the restaurant. I told you to get whatever you wanted. I wanted a whole serving of fries, that’s why I ordered myself a whole serving of fries. I didn’t order something cause I only wanted half of it and was hoping to split the rest with you. The annoying thing is she'll still not finish hers after stealing from me.

4. Painting their eyebrows like the great wall of China. Ladies trust me no man loves too see that brow after you have entered the sun and it has melted the whole thing and half of it is off.  Stop making your eyebrows like the Nike symbol. We no like am at all. Every woman is now a makeup artist.

5. Not knowing how to take compliments. When we say, “you look beautiful today” we aren’t saying you don’t look beautiful on any other day, we are just saying you look exceptionally beautiful today. Take it as a goddamn compliment.

I really do not want to bore you but there is a very long list of things you women do that are pretty annoying. I hope you enjoyed this read. Thanks Moby for this opportunity given to me. Now I feel like a celebrity blogger. Thanks. Hello Mobylizers. Peace out.

MOBY SPEAKS
*hahahahahahaha*

Okay I am guilty of all the above. Small gist. When Leboo and I just started dating, I had a dream I saw him with his ex... they were not doing anything o but you know the way dreams are like na.. you can tell the end most times. I woke Leboo up and started crying cats and dog. I didn't know why I was crying but I think it was the tears I wanted to shed in the dream... The poor boy started begging for sins he didn't commit. Men have suffered. Anyways, thanks dear for this lovely post. God bless you.

And with all this English I have spoken, I open the door to an amazing weekend.
Have a beautiful weekend and make sure your weekend download is better than mine *winks*.

Cheers......

INTRODUCING DAVE AND GOLLY.....MINUS MOBY

$

The animation Dave & Golly is centered on the theme “Little people doing great things”.
As at the time the historic event occurred, no one believed the answer laid in the hands of a boy. That boy wouldn’t have achieved anything if he wasn’t doing the right thing at the right time (Taking care a flock of sheep and chasing wild animals from preying on them)
The life we live in this 21stCentury is striving with diverse Golly ranging from economic meltdown to unavailability of resources to go around the masses.
Many years ago, Spartans developed a culture of slaughtering the weak while the strong train into potential war machines in order to give out a lasting vibration of their shocking combat.
The mind of a child is like a diamond that needs purification, carving and consistent polishing propelling them to act subconsciously in alignment with the principles they have been thought. It is with this tool they become great men and women who are ready to take up issues, task, oppositions and come out victorious.
If some of our leaders happened to be well trained from their homes, they won’t experience the impediment that dooms them today.
As parents there are countless things you can teach your children either knowingly or unknowingly. Set yourself to be a living example because they know when you lie, when you are weak, when you are bold, when you are strong and they watch how you counter your own fears. This will position them aright for the future.
“There is Dave sitting amongst you, it could be you”…Do yourself the favour of converting “You”to “Me”.
Never look down on anyone because they might just be the Dave to end your Golly or our Golly.
From the #Ash7 team that brought you the House of Ajebo comedy cartoons comes a story of love, hope and the power of child-like faith. It will take a giant at heart to face the greatest duel of all time. Ash Seven Animation Studio presents DAVE AND GOLLY.Premieres August 22 at Silverbird Galleria.

Downloaded last two pictures cos as at the time of uploading thispost, the shoes were in my house..
Earlier last week, I got a call from my friend, Segun Dangote, asking if I wanted to be in a short drama. Most of us do not know this but Moby used to act .. like nollywood *shines teeth*...yep I did...*wink* So on Saturday morning, I set out to Magodo with my small script and I think I did an amazing job. And Segun is funny fa.... I was laughing all through the shoot and had to do a lot of retakes...It was good though...I was good (hating is allowed LOL)....I think I am the Angelina Jolie of my generation... yinmu....LOL....(I already smell beef ooo...LOL)

After that, I had to hook up with an old bestie friend of mine at Grandeur... CUT!!!!. I do not want to have a big wedding at all at all.... The wahala is too much abeg...Mhen there were about a thousand people at the party....kilode!.... Anyways, I ate Tuwo with gbegiri at first... then I ordered Amala and Ewedu... then I topped it with jellof and fried rice....*covers face*... na only me waka go the party o...hahaha.....I really didn't know my dress was very short until I looked at the pictures..... Weird shey... To all the people that I almost blinded their husband's eyes, I am sorry..it wasn't done on purpose *winks*

Sunday was super fast.... I was hoping I would fall sick so I would call my boss to take Monday off ...*covers face*...But the sickness no gree come sha....*looong hiss*... After church.. (I can categorically tell you that I've missed church just once this year..)  Leboo had his old students association meeting, so he hosted a few of his secondary school colleagues..... Now I believe the saying "show me your friends and I'll download the story of your life for you". ...I had fun just watching and listening to their escapades while in college... Guys if you want to know about your spouse,  just hook up with his/ her childhood friends... they never fuck up in that area....LOL
